Robert Linzeler made a name for himself at the 1900 exhibition: his vases attracted attention and his cutlery earned him a gold medal. Varying his creations, he sometimes combined goldsmith pieces and furniture, as shown in illustrations published in the magazine Les Modes, between 1906 and 1912. He made, to order, objects or sets for stars or famous people of his time.
