Note from the Ledoyen restaurant, located on the Champs-Elysées, signed by Salvador Dali in blue ballpoint pen. Annotation in the margin indicating that the note was from Dali on 5.1.79. Dali spent the winter season in Paris and then New York. He had a suite at the Hôtel Meurice. It is well known that Dali paid his restaurant bills with a dedication. The Ledoyen pavilion is one of the oldest and most famous Parisian restaurants, located at 8 avenue Dutuit in the Ledoyen square of the Champs-Elysées gardens, founded in 1779 by Sieur Desmazure who rented it in 1791 to Antoine-Nicolas Doyen known as Ledoyen.
