Fireplace, monumental, ca.1775, dramatically sculpted in veined Arabescato marble. The important frieze is slightly more Baroque in character. The large serpentine shelf rest above the undulating frieze, which is centered by a Rococo shell. The beautiful ends are supported by flamboyant panelled, massive jambs, profoundly adorned by sinious carvings. This fireplace is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship and a true marvel of design and artrisity. A testament to it's timeless beauty.
