A copy is present in the collection of the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie. Le pied de Cochon is a legendary restaurant in Les Halles de Paris. When it first opened in 1947, this establishment was the meeting place for the "Forts des Halles", handlers who transported goods to the pavilions of the former Halles de Paris. Clément Blanc had the idea of offering his customers a continuous service and decided to make pig's trotters his star dish. And it was an immediate success! In the 1950s, in addition to the workers of Les Halles, all of Paris flocked to Au Pied de Cochon, like Charles Aznavour and Jean-Paul Belmondo. A Parisian institution was born...
