Designed by the Berlin architectural agency of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the MR90 (commonly called the BARCELONA armchair) was presented in the German pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition. Very generous in its dimensions (75cm wide ...), it finds its inspiration in Roman curule chairs.
