"Flemish School 18th Century: Landscape Under A Stormy Sky "
Superb hilly landscape under a stormy sky, made in the 18th century, which can undoubtedly be attributed to the Flemish school. Made on a beautiful flawless walnut panel, we will observe the finesse of the details and in particular the whites on the tree trunks. This detail allows us to compare the older work of Frédérick de Moucheron (1633-1686), known for his extremely fine landscapes. We can look at the work of Alexander Keirincx (1600-1652), who also produced landscapes in this spirit. These proposals have no other purpose than to show the inking of this work in the flemmish Golden Age. We will note in the center of the panel on the back a fragment of a very old collection label. Dimensions of the panel: 25 cm x 32 cm A beautiful quality empire frame has accompanied this painting for a long time (some imperfections, but beautiful gilding).
