Majorelle Nancy: center bed with openwork uprights, Art Nouveau period, circa 1900 Very good quality cabinetmaking. No missing parts. Rich bronze ornamentation with impeccable gilding. Made entirely of Cuban mahogany and burl mahogany with a majestic and abundant gilded bronze decoration in the style of Hector Guimard. This bed was separated from a set of furniture that is in my possession and includes: Two bookcases. Two console bedside tables (pair). A large center bed with openwork uprights. And a flat center desk. Note that only the large bed and one wardrobe bear the Majorelle Nancy stamp (hot shell). Given the quality of the bronzes, they could be attributed to a great founder of the time. Dimensions: Bed h141x113x211.
