Of exceptional quality, attested by its weight, a delightful group in terracotta modeled and patinated in the manner of the 18th century representing a cherub and a cupid with a sheaf of flowers while a basket filled with flowers is at their feet. They are leaning on gorse and reeds and rest on a planted terrace and a base imitating wood. A favorite subject of the artist! Lovely! Signed "Cholin" at the tip on the back. A very beautiful treatment of the subject, a great finesse of execution in particular in the particularly expressive faces, their delicately plump bodies. Beautiful patina of time, a slight superficial lack on the back of the base (less visible in reality than the photo), a wing probably and discreetly glued back on barely visible (see photos).
