Very beautiful pair of high-backed walnut armchairs from the Louis XIV period. It is worth noting the quality of the turning of the various elements: spacers and armrest supports, as well as that of the decorations of the armrests themselves, decorated with very rich acanthus leaves.These seats have been completely dismantled, glued back together, re-doweled and re-waxed.
They are sold in barrels so that everyone can choose their fabric, but also so as not to hide the fact that the crosspieces have been changed because, over time and with successive changes of fabric, they were not able to receive additional upholstery.
