Octagonal barrel, rifled, 99% original blue finish, engraved with a muzzle frieze; dovetailed front sight and rise. Signed on top: MOORE & WOODWARE, 64, St JAMES St LONDON and hallmarked on bottom.
Round barrel with six chambers numbered 1 to 6. Control marks, original fireplaces.
Long-crested dog with zoomorphic engraving.
Jaspered open frame engraved with scrolls and friezes.
Finely checkered walnut stock. Silver thumbpiece.
Jaspered, line-engraved steel cap with flower-engraved door.
Very good condition.
