Oil lamp with a round spout, flanked by two points, incised on the bands with concentric motifs, the hollowed handle is ribbed. The disc is decorated in relief with a merchant carrying a wine amphora, the decoration here is detailed and precise indicating a mastered production. The reverse has a well-engraved signature: MNOVIVST, MARCUS NOVIUS IUSTUS, workshop located near El-Jem active between 120 and 180 AD, many lamps from this workshop were discovered throughout the Mediterranean basin, attesting to the reputation of these productions.
