Magnificent fragment of Maffrash Shahsavan from Persia. The Maffrash are the largest carrying bags used by nomadic populations. Various goods were transported there, including bedding or dishes. This fragment comes from one of the panels. Mixed technique: weaving and Sumak. Extremely refined and meticulous work. A small work of art!
