In a classically dressed Venus, the angel of love removes the rose. The clock is built on 6 round feet, the lower base is rectangular with round sides. In the ornament of this base, various putti can be seen in a landscape. The sides are decorated with banners. To the left of the clock house is Venus removing the angel of love from the rose. To the right of the clock house is a brazier. The clock is made entirely of gilded bronze.
The timepiece has an enamel dial with Roman numerals and finely carved gold-plated hands.
