unusual Chinese monk's staff, perhaps made of peach wood, lacquered with ideograms and carved, in the upper part there is a Buddhist monk in meditation, at the bottom there is a fish (carp), on the back a horse, at the bottom there are some knots or growths typical of fruit trees. late 19th/20th century
