"Kete Mask (kuba) Congo Drc"
Interesting large Kete helmet mask, installed near the Lubas and the Songyes, they mixed with the Kubas. We find the classic diamond pattern, the use of earth for coloring, the expressionist face with these large protruding eyes and the mouth making a sort of pout, beautiful basketwork work to make the helmet, traces of use, beautiful patina, quite rare masks! Height 43 cm.
