The capital which surmounts this architecture is enhanced by two cornucopias in chiseled gilt bronze which meet above the dial.

A majestic drapery unfolds under the dial and the pendulum in the shape of a radiant solar disk completes the composition. The hours are indicated in black Roman numerals, the mechanism also indicates the days.
