"Vatican Council 1, July 18, 1870, Pope Pius Ix, Very Rare Choreography, By Schultz"
Very rare and important chromography representing the Vatican Council 1 dated July 18, 1870. It was on this day that Pope PIUS IX decided to publish the constitution PASTOR AETERNUS. It states a principle, subject to debate for centuries among Catholics: PONTIFICAL INFALLIBILITY. Each of the characters in the assembly has his own portrait. The different cartouches describe this historical fact. Despite 3 traces of friction, a slight scratch, our canvas, in perfect condition, is mounted on a key frame. Its frame needs to be restored. Rarely have we found a print of this quality. Not to be missed!!!!
