L, a swan pierced by an arrow) (Copin Successor) 23 rue Chapon Paris 3e Received in 1896 in Paris By Eugène Lefebvre, rare "tête à tête" tea and coffee service, in solid silver from the Art Nouveau period. It consists of five elements, a tray, a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar pot and a small creamer. The outline of the tray is decorated with nasturtium leaves and flowers with delicate, fine and very realistic details, in clasps and openwork; the movement in the Art Nouveau style. The shaped pieces, the body plain and flared in their upper part, are flanked by openwork handles simulating the stems whose flower endings are placed in appliques at the neckline. The fretels in the shape of petals of an inverted nasturtium, its petiole forming a grip. A few micro-shocks (pinhead) and/or micro-scratches from normal use, a mark on a lid (see photo), in no way detracting from the rare beauty of this magnificent service. Engraving on some pieces, "creamer" and "sugar bowl", on their handles and grooves. Minerva hallmark 1st title (950) on each of the pieces: body, handles, edge of the lids and tray. Hallmark of the master goldsmith Eugène Lefèbvre engraved on the reverse of the 4 pieces, at the corner of an outline for the tray.
