"Miniature 18th Century, Early 19th Century, Man In A Hand-painted Frock Coat, Hair Work"
This miniature is from the end of the 18th-beginning of the 19th century. It represents a man in a frock coat, made with great finesse. No signature. The hoop is in gold or gold plated, we were unable to identify a hallmark, but given the quality we think it is gold. There is hair work at the back. We can imagine that this hair work belonged to this man. Some wear and rubbing towards the bottom. We note that the miniature may have been cut on the sides. The hair work is natural, untouched.
