A delicate and elegant mirror in carved wood, openwork, and gilded with gold leaf. It features an attractive carved decoration of interlaced ribbons, acanthus leaves, and a garland of roses. The pediment is carved with foliage and burst pomegranates. The mirror ends in goat feet.
Interesting mid-18th century Italian work circa 1750-1760, from a Palace in Ponzano Romano.
