Exceptionnelle horloge de parquet du Sud-Ouest (Quercy), 18 ème. Le meuble, en merisier présente un superbe et étonnant décor très soigné, avec des incrustations de bois clair (buis) et de bois foncé, avec notemment une étoile, la croix occitane et deux fleurs de lys (etc.); clé et serrure d'origine.
Le mouvement qui porte le motif “au soleil“, avec le nom Bailly à Figeac sur le cadran est en état de marche et a été revisé par un horloger en 2024;
le balancier est un plomb.
Hauteur 267 cm / Largeur maxi à la corniche 52 cm. La caisse est en deux parties: la tête et le corps.
