"Bouvard, Venice. Oil On Canvas Large Format"
Oil on canvas, in perfect condition, signed lower right: BOUVARD Antoine Bouvard 1870-1956, trained as an architect at the École des Beaux-Arts in PARIS and was responsible for the construction of the Palais Brogniart (the Bourse). During his many trips to Venice, he met Felix Ziem and shared with him his admiration for the atmosphere, the serenity of the waves and especially the lighting effects specific to the Serenissima. His works are immensely successful and are exhibited in the Salons and are in collections around the world. Dimensions: canvas: 64cm x50cm frame: 84cm x 70cm
