Half-moon Console In Retouched Wood, Louis XVI Style – Early 19th Century
This console table in light gray rechampi wood opens in a belt with a drawer with a falling iron ring handle. This belt, convex, following the lines of the furniture, is molded with rosettes, channel friezes, cords and festoons. The four tapered legs are fluted and decorated with pearl rings. The whole is topped by an original marble with a projection with later restoration. Elegant and decorative, this half-moon console table will enhance your vases, bronzes or other valuables while allowing you to store your belongings in its good capacity drawer. ******** Period: Early 19th century Excellent condition.
