Miniature on ivory from the late 18th or early 19th century, representing an officer of the 1st Empire wearing a bicorn and cockade, in the background we can see a landscape suggesting a pyramid which evokes the campaign in Egypt of Napoleon 1st. His calm attitude indicates an important character. Inscription on the back of the miniature to decipher. Very good condition, dimensions H6 cm x W6cm, dimensions with wooden frame H12 cm x W12 cm, curved glass. Shipping costs, contact us.
