Miniature on ivory from the late 18th or early 19th century, representing an officer of the 1st Empire wearing a bicorn and cockade, in the background we can see a landscape suggesting a pyramid which evokes the campaign in Egypt of Napoleon 1st. His calm attitude indicates an important character. Inscription on the back of the miniature to decipher.
