A real piece to enhance your cabinet of curiosities : The fantastic creature Jenny Haniver, or "The Girl from Antwerp".As early as the 16th century, this chimera was the result of sailor's work : by sculpting and drying a ray on the deck of the boat in the salty sea spray of the ocean, English sailors brought back from their travels this fantastic creature, embellished with all the possible and imaginable stories (demons, little dragon, mermaid, etc.).
