"17th Century Lombard Walnut Sideboard"
Beautiful Lombard sideboard from the second half of the 17th century, made of carved walnut wood with a dark patina. The sideboard has two doors with lost wax cast bronze handles, which open onto two shelves along the entire length of the furniture, thus offering space for numerous objects. Furthermore, it has two ergonomic drawers under the top and three concealed drawers in the middle, a unique feature. The urn-shaped base is carved and supported by elegant feral legs. The geometric decorations with backgrounds and lozenges on the front give a touch of elegance and sophistication to the piece of furniture, while the classical references in the undercounter band and in the concealed drawers add a touch of antique charm. Finally, the sideboard is well preserved, showing only slight signs of aging.
