Léon Fleury is a French painter born on December 18, 1804 in Paris and died in October 1858 also in Paris. He painted religious compositions, genre scenes, landscapes and portraits. Son of Antoine Fleury, he was one of his students, then he entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1821 where his teachers were Jean Victor Bertin and Louis Hersent. He stayed in Italy from 1827 to 1830. Very high quality painting in perfect condition. Dimensions with frame: 35 x 47 cm.
