"Large Bronze Bas Relief “dyonysus”"
Impressive bronze bas-relief depicting Dionysus carrying a thyrsus and wearing a nebrid with a panther at his side. In front of him is a dancing maenad playing a tambourine pursued by a satire also wearing a nebrid and playing a double flute. The patina is in perfect condition. This bas-relief is found in the vestibule of the Von Stuck villa in Munich. The original marble work is kept at the British Museum in London.
