"17th Century Wrought Iron Door Knocker"

Beautiful model of a 17th century wrought iron door knocker or door knocker. A so-called "pendeloque" copy. Its strong striking arm with cut sides and polyhedron termination pivots perfectly on an axis connected to a square section fixing rod. Total length of the arm from the middle of its axis: 19 cm. Beautiful and large decorative plate in wrought iron cut out in the Louis XIV style. Some very acceptable traces of oxidation and very logical traces of use. Light polishing. I am attaching a round iron anvil, to be screwed with its original nut. Delivery: €15 for mainland France
