"Large Beaucairois Mirror, Gilded Wood, Provence 18th Century."

The imposing trilobed pediment is the characteristic of these beautiful Beaucairois mirrors. It is sculpted with a 'flower basket' decoration on a glass background. The central glass, in good condition, is surrounded on its four sides by vine branch motifs, accompanied by glass parecloses. Two short, arched feet surround a fruit motif. The original resinous back is also in perfect condition. Beautiful Provencal work, sculpture and gilding, in very good original condition.
