"Decorative Mirror In Carved Wood, Decorated With Marine Elements"
A rare decorative carved wooden mirror with maritime elements, dating from the 20th-21st century. This exceptional wooden frame features intricate and finely detailed relief carvings, depicting maritime motifs such as masts, sails, rigging, flags, capstans, cannons, oars, and sailors manning an anchor. The coat of arms in the lower centre shows the prow of a ship, while the coat of arms in the upper centre depicts the figure of the sea god, flanked by a dolphin and a seahorse on either side. Condition: Requires some restoration. Dimensions: H 122 x W 165 x D 7 cm.
