At first glance it may seem like a wooden sculpture, but as can be seen from the small hole on the back it is possible to see how this is empty inside and therefore more likely, it was made in papier-mâché, by a modeller of notable quality during the 18th century, probably in an area pertaining to the Papal State.
The sculpture is in good condition, although it has lost the superficial layer of color in some.
The height of the sculpture is 52cm.
