"Ancient Table Lectern"
Ancient Table Lectern of essential workmanship composed of two overlapping rectangular frames and hinged together by means of two iron eyelets; the base frame is slightly larger in size and has molded edges. The four support feet are pin-fixed and have the shape of the silhouette of an onion-turned foot. The inclination adjustment takes place through the median support of the book which rests on the steps of a rack. The lectern is tempera lacquered in a green color and is in good condition. It comes from northern Italy and dates back to the first half of the 1700s.
