"Giovanni Montelattici Italian Pietra Dura Inlaid Oval Commesso With Flowers "
Table frame with marble flowers, early 1900s, oval in shape with a beaded profile hinged to the right side so that the frame can be opened which has two legs and a curb richly decorated with intricately engraved scrolls in the edges. The frame is made of a thick, silver sheet of brass with a mark on the back with the initials MV in an oval field with the figure of a hammer in the center. The saleswoman is carried out on a slate plate or a blackboard with the inlay of a rose in the center and some wild flowers. Note the green leaves for which stones in natural chiaroscuro tones have been chosen which give a beautiful depth to the composition.
