Beautiful mountain painting depicting the resort "Les Houches" located between St Gervais and Chamonix. A regionalist painter passionate about his region, he has, in his various paintings, evoked in particular the Entrance to Moret by the old Porte du Pont, and the Church of Moret in the evening4, and, in the Barbizon region, under the title After the storm, the shepherd who brings back the sheep, in front of the haystacks similar to pointed caps, he also founded a museum in Moret, where he brought together the works of landscapers who were particularly taken with Moret or who lived there3. nude format 42 x 35 cm
