"Standing Man Louis XIII, Walnut Cabinet 2 Superimposed Parts, Late 17th Early 18th Century"
Very nice standing man in solid walnut in the pure Louis XIII style from the end of the 17th - beginning of the 18th century, from the South-West region. It rests on two ball feet at the front and two straight feet at the back. This piece of furniture is made up of two superimposed parts, the lower part opens with a leaf and a large transverse drawer, the upper part opens with a leaf. The whole is topped with a large cornice with overflowing molding. It has an exceptional thickness in the moldings as well as the back boards (see photos). We point out that we are selling this piece of furniture in the condition in which we acquired it, it has kept a beautiful original patina and will just need to be waxed a little. It has some traces of wear, especially on the central panel, on the right side in the upper corner (see photo). A little rework or filling will be necessary. We consider that this piece of furniture is in a good state of conservation considering its age (as a reminder, end of the 17th - beginning of the 18th century). Furniture for enlightened amateurs. It can be collected from our warehouse, near Limoges. Dimensions: height 218 cm depth at the cornice 71 cm length at the cornice 124 cm
