Very beautiful wrought iron work for these exceptional vases from the Art Nouveau period, the body made up of brass cylinders partially hammered in the upper part like falling water drops.
The bodies are set in superb wrought iron mounts made according to the rules of the art using rivets without the slightest welding. Due to their very characteristic shapes, the handles resolutely display work from the Art Nouveau period.
In the lower and upper part, the motifs of the decorative repertoire offer two wide bands forming large circular friezes, framed by generous thick hoops; it seems that the foliage is made of ginkgo billoba foliage.
Each one has a cylindrical lining inside, a plate of rolled iron sheet, welded with tin or lead and waterproof to allow water to pass through.
I would also like to point out that these vases have been cleaned by the previous owner, as the frames were previously oxidized with rust and the brass bodies had a patina of age.
