Pair Of Small Silver Mirrors From The 18th Century.
Pair of small silver mirrors from the 18th century.
Splendid pair of ancient carved and silver leaf frames with the mercury mirror inserted in place of the relic, the wax seals are still present on the back.
In good conservative condition, three small scrolls are missing (highlighted in the photo).
These two small shaped mirrors are of Piedmontese origin and date back to the mid-18th century.
The combination of the intricate Baroque style design with the scroll shapes adds character and elegance to the mirrors.
They would make great decorative items that would add a touch of history and whimsy to any space.
