Large Art Deco drageoir representing a squirrel in silver metal, design Antoinette de Ribes for Gallia (1931) Beautiful lines of cubist inspiration. Marked below "O.GALLIA" and numbered with the model number 5989. This model in this size is very difficult to find especially in this condition. This model has not been reissued. The Gallia brand is part of the Christofle house which belongs in part to the Bouillet family. Antoinette de RIBES daughter of Hélène Bouillet was born in 1892 and became a sculptor in Paris.
