Rare and exceptional head of a Divinity in finely carved polychrome wood (antique red and black) from the very end of the 18th century at the time of Napoleon's Consulate; mounted on a beautiful foot in dark red veined marble in the shape of a finely turned and polished piedouche. A bronze flask attached to the head completes the office presentation. This unique piece is an intermediate element (arch at the base at the shoulders and trace of attachment on the top of the head) an important throne armrest (given the size), of incomparable quality this very present curiosity piece is of a certain classicism and this beautiful face retouched to perfection is the work of a great artist, the base of the generous turban falling in fringed drapery on each side behind the ears, styled in the Antique style, braided locks at the front and wrapped in this turban. With a remarkable patina and a very unusual presence, this piece of Curiosity has its place in an Amateur's cabinet, adorning a desk with dignity by flooding with its beautiful presence; in perfect original condition
