Charming portrait of a young girl holding out a pearl necklace. The hairstyle and clothing allow us to place the creation of this work around 1850. The young girl is seated. A shy smile can be read on her face.
The work is done in charcoal enhanced with white pastel. It is signed lower right.
The work is in excellent condition. It is placed under glass, under a marie-louise, and framed in a wooden frame in used condition.
