"End Of The 18th Century Neoclassical Lyre Clock"
It is a fascinating lyre-shaped table clock, of Parisian origin. Its pendulum is refined and has the shape of a beautiful butterfly. The clock is made of ebonized wood, enriched by lost wax cast bronze applications, finely chiseled and mercury gilded. The silk thread suspension gives a touch of elegance, while the weekly charge guarantees its autonomous operation. The clock strikes the hours and half hours. This creation represents a typical example of French manufacturing at the end of the 18th century.
