Quick description
Rare series of crib Santons, folk art late 19th century.
Made with different types of wood, odds and ends and carved with a knife.
Probably the work of a prisoner or soldier.
The heads are quite finely sculpted, original polychromy.
The bodies and limbs are mostly articulated, and must have been covered with fabrics.
The whole is very touching.

Dimensions
From 25 to 15cm high.
