Dimensions: 100 cm high X 31 cm wide X 22 cm deep. Arisztid Szendy born May 16, 1936 in Hungary, from a family of painters and musicians. He came to France in 1956 after the Hungarian revolution. He began his studies in France at the Beaux Arts in Paris under the guidance of Giacometti, Zadkine and Adam. He learned the art of drawing, modeling and sculpture on different materials but he was particularly attached to brass and bronze alloys. He was commissioned to create a bas-relief at the Bank of Bilbao, at the Sand Museum in Port Barcares, and participated in exhibitions at the Grand Palais, such as "Jeune sculpture", Sacred Art, New Realities of Paris, then he moved to Beauce where he appreciated its large expanses of fields with varied colors. After a stint in the abstract, he came to the figurative using repoussé, according to boilermaking techniques. His Sculptures evoke women, he amplifies them, sometimes deforms them... he draws a lot of inspiration from fertility. His creativity comes above all from internal communication, research... Over the years, the artist began to make smaller sculptures until he turned to jewelry, which allowed him to participate in the major art studio and Bijhorca fairs twice a year.
