"Middle Desk - Art Deco Period 1930/1940 - Stamped Maurice Alet"
Mid-century Art Deco desk, stamped by Maurice Alet, (1874-1967) cabinetmaker from Toulouse. The first side has 3 large drawers on each side, as well as a drawer on the crosspiece. The second side has 2 doors. The drawers are dressed in original steel ironwork. The lock entries on the two doors are also original. Two keys for the doors and two keys for the drawers. No key for the large drawer on the front and for the right drawer. The whole is inlaid with geometric decoration of precious woods: amboyna burl, mahogany and walnut.
