"Carved Wood Wall Clock, Germany, 19th C."
Wall clock, or cartel, in carved wood of an eventful shape decorated with scrolls and flowers, probably edelweiss, repeated in the dial, the pendulum and the hands, all three in pewter. Very nice work, decorative, of German art nouveau, probably Bavarian. We attach a photo of the cartel in situation in an interior of the years 1880-1900. The movement needs to be revised.
