Dimensions: Painting 52/67.5 With frame 67/82.5 Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg (1833-1904) Well-known and renowned French painter, specializing in landscapes, in the Barbizon School movement. His favorite subject is the Breton and Norman ports, as well as the North Sea and Alpine villages. In 1855 Kuwasseg exhibited regularly at the salon where he won numerous awards, later he became an art professor. He mastered the art of contrast and demonstrated great finesse in his execution.
