Orientalist bronze sculpture "Young Arabic lady". Signed G. Leroux for Gaston Veuvenot Leroux born in 1854 died in 1942. He taught at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and won the bronze medal at the Universal Exhibitions of 1898 and 1900. His favorite subject was the Orient. We also find the name of Marcel Guillemard for the founder.
This sculpture had the second medal at the exhibition.
