Very pretty oil on canvas from the very end of the 19th century depicting a boat on cradles in a small port. Looking closely at the buildings in the composition, one might think of a port located in Vendée or Charente-Maritime. The small stone bridge in the middle of the scene suggests a landscape in the South of France, such as Sète possibly.
