Royal Collection; Child Louis XV Crowned 12 Years Old, Bronze, 1722

Beautiful Royal collector's item, sand-cast and gilded bronze applique, which must have adorned the transport chests, for, or at period of little Louis XV coronation in Reims, circa 1722.
Medals had been issued, (see last photo) but this is a particularly striking document.
The little King, wearing a closed crown, large cross of Saint Esprit, fleurs-de-lys, scepter and hand of Justice, is seated, framed by two palms.
The bust part must be a model used for other elements, the bronzier added a start of legs to balance the applique, which goes well at first glance. Regency-Louis XV period. Found condition, dirty.
